Exterior Painting & Renovation in Ridgefield, CT | Woodland Green

Fairfield Pro Painting completed an exterior painting and renovation project in Ridgefield, CT, combining carpentry work with a coordinated green-and-white color scheme. We painted the house siding and shed in Woodland Green, finished the trim in white semi-gloss, used Greenwich Village Green on the fence and front door, and painted the front metal handrail with black satin oil-based paint.

From Worn Exterior to a Coordinated Finish

The before photos show extensive peeling paint and exposed areas on the siding. The completed views show the transformation to a consistent green exterior, with light trim defining the roofline and windows.

This renovation included carpentry as well as painting. Addressing the exterior details before the finish work was part of bringing the house together visually.

Carpentry and Exterior Renovation

Our scope included carpentry work alongside the exterior painting. These tasks were part of the overall renovation, followed by the color and finish work across the house and its additional exterior features.

For a similar project, the estimate should identify the carpentry and preparation needed for the specific surfaces. The condition of the existing siding and trim helps determine the work required before painting.

Woodland Green Siding and Matching Shed

We used Woodland Green on the house siding and painted the shed in the same color. Repeating the main color across both structures creates a coordinated appearance throughout the property.

The green finish works with the trees and landscaping around the home, giving the exterior a softer, refreshed look.

White Semi-Gloss Trim

The trim received a white semi-gloss finish. The light trim creates a clear contrast with the green siding and draws attention to the home’s windows and roofline.

Greenwich Village Green Fence and Front Door

The fence and front door were painted Greenwich Village Green. Using the same accent color on these two elements connects the entrance with the surrounding exterior features.

Black Satin Oil-Based Paint on the Front Handrail

We painted the metal handrail at the front entrance with black satin oil-based paint. The dark railing adds definition to the steps and contrasts with the green siding and white trim.
